The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect in your own home. Three windows in the kitchen, with one ultrawide, all overlook the Caribbean blue water and lend to a unique culinary experience.

Artistic, handcrafted sconces from the owner's pottery Studio grace the finest resorts in the Caribbean and set the island, stone shower and living room aglow. Triple sliding glass doors pocket into the wall opening the living room to a tranquil view of Chocolate Hole Bay & the Caribbean Sea. A skylight crowns the high, vaulted ceiling and creates an airy, open living space by sunlight or moonlight.

The spacious living room and the adjoining deck that runs the length of the house, provide the homelike atmosphere that invites you to relax. The magnificent island stone walls and the Danish door recall the island's heritage. Built in bookcases, a vaulted ceiling and oil paintings and folk sculptures have been carefully selected.

Perhaps the most memorable architectural feature is the handwrought stonework bath. The large shower with its stone seat wills forever after set the standard for what you expect in a luxurious bathing experience. The deck that runs along the entire front of the cottage is the perfect spot for enjoying the evening breezes or watching the bannaquits and the hummingbirds drink from the calabash feeder early in the morning. You can mark the slow passage of the hours by the sundial.

Below the house in the garden is a hammock for total relaxation. The garden itself holds delightful surprises including tropical orchids, aloes, lime trees, and century plants. The gumbo limbo tree is also called the tourist tree because it peels like a tourist who has forgotten to use sun block. When you choose to descend to the world below, the shops and restaurants of Cruz Bay are just five minutes away and the National Park beaches are just a few minutes beyond Cruz Bay.
